Creative descent
I lay in bed, waiting to drop into that dream state, that other reality that I accept but can’t ever properly recall. In my mind I see old stone steps spiraling down into darkness. I am an adventurer, I must see where they lead. I start descending. It is dark, foreboding, unknown and slightly unstable.
As I glide hesitatingly downward, I push back any fears that arise to cripple me. Nothing can harm me but my mind. I feel uncertain, it’s all about feelings, it makes no sense.

Why do I hesitate? Do I think a monster will come out of the dark and bite me? Am I worried that I will lose my way and be trapped forever? Foolish ideas, I’m an adult!
I am at the bottom of the descent, surrounded by grimy stone walls, standing on a solid uneven floor. What now? Calm down I tell myself, this is probably an illusion, I move through a wall, I almost panic, keep steady.
Suddenly I am flying through a dark sky. This feel good, so free. I realise I have no idea where I am going, I panic, I crash into a wall, I wake up.
Amiable brief and this enter helped me alot in my college assignement. Gratefulness you on your information.
